A Bible app that scrolls like your feed
If you can scroll TikTok, you can read the Bible. Scroll the Gospel puts Scripture in the same shape: one verse fills the screen, you swipe up, and the next verse is there.
Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.
Colossians 3:2 · BSB
In plain wordsPaul tells the Colossians to set their minds on things above and not on earthly things.
How it works
- One verse per screen. Swipe up for the next one, the way you move through any feed.
- A line in plain words under every verse, if you want it, so an old word or a long sentence never stops you.
- Tap Deeper for what the verse meant to the people who first heard it, one way to carry it today, a short prayer and the passage around it.
- Start with what's on your heart. Pick from 20 topics, like worry, grief, loneliness, hope or rest, or a bit of everything, and the first verses are for that. Then read on through the Gospel of Mark, or jump to any book.
- Your place is kept. Close the app on any verse and it opens on that verse next time.
- Save and share. Keep the verses that speak to you, add a note, or share a verse as a picture for a post or a story.
What it doesn't have
No ads. No account or sign-in. No comments, follower counts or videos from strangers. The feed is the Bible, start to finish.
Why one verse at a time
A whole chapter can feel like a lot at the end of a long day. One verse is small enough to start any time, and the next one is only a swipe away. It's the same pull that keeps you scrolling a feed, pointed at Scripture.
Translations
The scroll starts in the Berean Standard Bible, a clear, modern English translation. You can switch to the World English Bible, the King James Version, the American Standard Version, Douay-Rheims or the World English Catholic Edition with Catholic book order, or to two Spanish Bibles. All eight are public domain (the King James Version everywhere except the UK) and work offline.
Free and Plus
Reading the Bible is free: a plain chapter-by-chapter reader in every translation, and you can share any verse. The verse-by-verse scroll, the explanations, stories and plans, reminders and the widget are part of Plus. The yearly plan starts with a 7-day free trial if you haven't had one before, and the app offers to remind you before the trial ends. The monthly plan has no trial. You can cancel any time in your iPhone's settings.
