Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 15, 2026
Scroll the Gospel is made by Cobblestone, LLC. This policy explains what happens to your information when you use the app.
What we collect
The app has no account and no sign-in, and never asks for your name or email. It does collect a few things:
- How the app is used. Anonymous counts of things like opening a story, turning on reminders or starting a trial, along with the app's language, sent to our analytics provider, PostHog, so we can see what helps people read. They aren't linked to your name.
- Where you came from. If you arrived from one of our ads on Facebook or Instagram, Meta's software tells Meta that the app was installed and whether a trial or purchase started, so we can measure our ads. It uses your device's advertising identifier only if you tap Allow when your iPhone asks about tracking. You can change that any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
What stays on your phone
Your reading position, liked verses, notes, reminder times, streak and settings are stored on your iPhone. Your notes are never sent to us. If you use iCloud, a copy is kept in your own iCloud account so your place survives a new phone or a reinstall. We can't see it.
Deleting the app removes what it stored on your phone. To remove the iCloud copy as well, go to Settings → your name → iCloud → Manage Account Storage.
Purchases
Subscriptions and purchases are handled by Apple. We don't receive your payment details. Apple tells the app whether you have an active plan.
Reminders
Reminders are scheduled on your phone. Nothing about them is sent to us.
Children
The app is suitable for all ages and doesn't knowingly collect information from anyone.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update the date above and, for meaningful changes, say so in the app.
